Sunday School Classes and Bible Studies

We have Bible study classes for all age groups & stages
in your Christian walk.  Please join us for the ones
that meet your needs!

Sundays at 10am, we have classes for all ages.

Nursery through Teens meet on the upper floor in the Sunday School area of
The Landmark Church.

Ages 2 - 4 Nursery Class learns the basics of the Bible and God's love for us.

Ages 5 - 6 (K - 1st grade) Class builds on Old and New Testament Bible stories with practical everyday application.

Ages 7 - 10 (2nd - 5th grade) Class studies the Bible to learn from mistakes and triumphs of men and women depicted in
God's Word.

Ages 11 - 12 (6th - 7th grade) Class learns how to live the Christian faith in their daily lives.

Ages 13 - 18 (Teen Girls High School to graduation) Class spends time in books that talk about relationships… how to relate with family, people, find the right godly guy, and especially how to look at how God views all of these important parts of our lives. We will soon be starting a study about Hagar and bring the relevance of that to today.

Ages 13 - 18 (Late Middle School to High School Boys) Class is currently using the Saddleback Church curriculum called: "The One Minute Bible."  This curriculum covers both Old and New Testament events and topics and how they relate to each student's life.

New Believers Class (Teens and Adults) learns what the Bible says about breaking away from old friends and old habits.  If you struggle with life-controlling issues, this is the class to help you grow in your walk with Christ.  (Meets in the church basement dining hall.)

Young Mothers / Young Married Women's Class uses Proverbs 31 and Titus 2 as their foundation for uplifting, encouraging and exhorting one another.  They share on many topics including parenting, marriages and needs of young families.  They fellowship about real life issues in a very informal, friendly setting.  Young children are especially welcomed to stay with their moms.  (Meets in the Church Nursery on the Main Floor.)

Ladies Class studies books of the Bible to learn how to put their faith in action in their busy lives. (Meets behind the Church Sanctuary on the Main Floor.)

Adult Class Ages 18–100+ is studying the Old Testament (1ST 5 Books).

One chapter per week(Sunday) is read and reviewed as a comprehensive, not exhaustive, study giving participants an opportunity to develop their inductive Bible study skills at their own rate of spiritual growth.  This class is for folks who are willing to work at learning the work of God for growth and guidance in their walk with their Lord.  If this sounds like something you're looking for, come join us and we'll grow together!  (Meets in The Landing Co Coffee House next door at 134 Court St.)

Wed Nights at 7:00 pm: Join both the Ladies and Men's Prayer groups for Bible Study.  The men are currently studying "Famous Prayers of the Bible" and meet in the Landing Co at 134 Court St.  The ladies are studying Henri Nouwen's book "The Inner Voice of Love" and meet behind the church sanctuary.

Wed Nights at 6:30 pm: Join Gary Leber at 45 Exchange St, Binghamton for an informal mid-week church service. Prayer Requests, Songs of Praise, Bible Study, Prayer, Fellowship , Fun and Snacks are all a part of the Activities.

Monday Nights at 6pm: Adults and Teens join Ruth Leonard in Hallstead, PA for a Bible study.  They are studying "Who We Are in Christ" to learn about praying God's promises and witnessing.  The class appreciates prayer for the physical and emotional needs, and those who need deliverance from addictions.  They witness daily answers to prayer and being set free.

Friday Afternoons from 1 - 2 pm, join Ruth Leonard and Caroline Brunett for an outreach at the Residential Care Home in Susquehanna, PA. They minister one on one to the elderly and post-surgery patients.  Giving a Scripture reading, praying for their salvation and healing are all a big encouragement to them.  The Bible study group gives toward buying items to hand out and prays for the needs of the residents.  Praise the Lord for many in the 90+ year-old age group who have accepted Christ, many not long before being taken home to heaven.
