Volunteers Needed in the Areas Below

Dear Landmark Church family,
The Invite and Follow-up committee has undertaken the task of recruiting volunteers for some vital work at our church. We anticipate compiling a master list of volunteers. From this list a schedule will be published. It now appears that a few people are doing much of the volunteering. Our desire is for many people to become involved. This will allow for a sharing of the workload. Please give prayerful consideration to join the Landmark Church workforce.
Volunteers are need in the following four (4) areas. If you are willing to volunteer please check the boxes indicating how often you are willing to participate:
Door Greeter – arrive at church before 10:45 A.M. and stand in the foyer. Door Greeters are responsible for warmly greeting the people who enter the church from Court Street and presenting them with a bulletin. The focus is on presenting a cheerful, warm, friendly, inviting encounter as people enter the church. I am willing to volunteer

Junior Church – provides a learning environment for children ages 4 to 10 during the church service. A team consisting of two teachers and one or two helpers present the youngsters with a Bible based lesson and age appropriate worship experience. I am willing to volunteer
Teacher:

Nursery – provides a caring, nurturing and safe environment for infants and toddlers (ages 0 to 3 years of age) during the church service. I am willing to volunteer

Usher – responsible for lighting, doors, the wheel chair ramp and cleaning before and after the service. Ushers also help to maintain a cheerful, warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere in the sanctuary. During the service, ushers maintain order; assist the pastor with communion and other tasks as needed. I am willing to volunteer

Our desire is for everyone to volunteer and help in some way. The goal is to schedule everyone only a few times a year. Remember “many hands make light labor.”
