The Landmark Church ~ Brief History
In 1980, Pierce Creek Gospel Chapel had dwindled to eight people with no pastor, yet the 8 kept praying that God would send a pastor to keep the doors open....
Pastor Dan Little and his wife Judy were called to preach there one Sunday in 1980. After just one service, they immediately felt God's strong calling and soon after the church was renamed The Church at Pierce Creek. The church grew to nearly 200 in attendance over an 18 year period. Since her early days, this local church has had a strong prophetic call to stand up for "the least of these", and to speak out to help preserve freedom in our nation. -Proverbs 24:11,12.
In 1998, the church was called by the Lord to minister from an historical church building on Court Street built in 1866. The Church at Pierce Creek was transplanted from its country setting south of the city to downtown Binghamton, and now has become known as
The Landmark Church.
