Our teens are also very involved helping at the monthly Food Help Day and the yearly Block Party. Many teens serve the church by working in the sound booth and teaching junior church. Once a year, they take the lead in providing Vacation Bible School for children in our church and community. They joyfully work with the children and show them the love of Jesus.
Several times during the year, they lead the Sunday morning worship service with their own praise band, songs and dramas. Our young people are committed to using their
talents and abilities for our Lord.
Participating in the Landmark Theater Co dramas and musicals is a favorite with the young people of our church. Recently many youth and adults of our church played a variety of roles in the original musical "I'm Coming Back" by youth director Sherry Bell.
In March, the youth held a fundraiser called "Heaven's Kitchen" to raise money toward Battle Cry. One of the chefs prepares chicken and biscuits for her customers.

Two teens from our church took turns wearing the
"Chester Cheetah" costume the opening day of the Johnson City Wal-Mart in July 2010. They walked around the store greeting customers and posing for pictures while making some extra cash for their efforts and supporting Rock Solid Youth Center.

Most Battle Cry trips end with a special day at the beach.
